For some odd reason, lately, I've been experiencing the revival of the mini-skirt. I don't know why but I seem to be having a bit of a Clueless moment with them. Although I don't recall Cher's or Dion's ever being quite as great as this from Stella McCartney.
I did provide you with an edgier option if pants are more your thing: leathers by Valentino. You'll never guessed what I almost put in here too, for those of you who prefer not to navigate the many perils of leather pants... White skinny jeans. Such a new thing for me, right? I decided to refrain as I'm sure you've seen enough of the articles themselves and their close approximations from me in the past month or so. Don't say I never did anything for you.
Another recent craving has been a printed blouse. Preferably silk, and of the Versace persuasion, but I settled for this more-practical cotton/silk blend one instead. It doesn't hurt that it's one is about 15% of the price of the major V. The scarf print is still haunting me, obviously.
The shoes are Aquazzura's 'Very Sexy', an absolutely, outrageously amazing brand! I'm planning a full post dedicated to the beauties they turn out, they deserve the limelight. I first spotted them on luxuryshoppers.net, a brilliant blog written by very chic European women, naturally. It's a constant source of inspiration to me.
Finally we have the soleil tan de chanel. It is a beautiful cream bronzer that i want desperately. Only, I need to see it in store first because it only comes in one shade (very dangerous for someone with skin as devoid of pigment as mine.) Leave it to me to settle for being painfully white all summer and yearn for that elusive tan-without-sunburn (elusive = impossible)as soon as fall draws near. Nothing a few clever beauty products can't fix! Presumably.
