J Brand Jeans/ J Crew sweater/ Maison Michel hat/ Chanel cruise bag/ Byredo perfume/ ASOS mules
Had you told me a month, nay, a week ago that I would like mules, I'd have given you the "you be crayzay" look. Honestly this just solidifies my belief that skinny jeans can make almost anything work. White ones even more so. Excuse the hipster, alternately Parisian, sensibility, but it'd be tough to dispute. I guess the super high heel also heightens (haha) these from their would-be grandma-trying-to-be-sexy status. I actually would have ordered these (shoes for 50 bucks, unheard of!)if not for the 5.5 inch heel. In a place where no one wears heels, it's hard not to look overdressed with any extra height, especially when you're already encroaching on 5' 9". Oh, the woes of the tall. On another note, when I move to Paris (let's be honest, it's inevitable) I'm going straight to the Maison Michel millinery house and getting a custom hat. I'm serious, I'm talking luggage in hand. I have an infatuation, OK? I've also included here my favorite bag from the exceptional Chanel cruise collection, a shape I haven't been seeing recently. I'm not going to lie, I'm more bummed than usual that I haven't won the lottery in the past 6 months- that's probably how long I'd take me to blow 181 million dollars. After taxes of course- lets not get crazy.
